A New(ish) Resource: Gospels.net

Andrew Bernhard, the author of the recently published Other Early Christian Gospels, has resurrected and reincarnated an academic archive dedicated to… you guessed it, other early Christian gospels.  He has also developed an accompanying blog; check them both out here.  Thus far materials relating to twelve texts have been added:

  • The Gospel of Thomas
  • The Gospel of Judas
  • The Gospel of Mary
  • The Gospel of Peter
  • The Unknown Gospel: Egerton Papyrus 2
  • Oxyrhynchus Parchment 840
  • The Gospel of the Ebionites
  • The Gospel of the Nazareans
  • The Gospel of the Hebrews
  • The Secret Gospel of Mark
  • The Infancy Gospel of Thomas
  • The Infancy Gospel of James

Visually the site is quite attractive, with a nice, clean look and economical presentation and navigation.  Future updates will only increase its usefulness.  I’m looking forward to working with this emerging resource in the future!
