This may not be as exciting for others as it is for me, but considering the role that Parker’s work has played in my own intellectual development (if you haven’t read The Living Text of the Gospels, go out and buy a copy RIGHT NOW), I think it’s worthy of a few exclamation points. His new blog traces the work of the International Greek New Testament Project as it moves into the “final stages” of its editio critica maior of the Gospel of John—although he indicates in the comments to his initial post that “final means we have only five years to go”! Hopefully that means we’ll be able to follow the formation of this landmark edition for several years to come.
